NBC's Parenthood,
created by Jason Katims (Friday Night Lights) makes its
premiere with a few familiar names and faces including producer
Ron Howard. Adam Braverman (Peter Krause) finds out his son Max
(Max Burkholder) might have Asperger's syndrome, his brother
Crosby (Dax Shepard) is a father, and Sarah (Lauren Graham)
moves back to Berkeley with her kids. Sister Julia (Erika
Christensen) is left struggling to balance motherhood and her
career.
The one hour drama
was inspired by the box office hit 'Parenthood'. This updated
Universal Media Studios/Imagine Television production follows the
trials and tribulations of the large and vibrant Braverman
family. Sarah Braverman (Lauren Graham, "Gilmore Girls") is a
financially strapped single mother raising two teenage kids, the
intelligent rebel Amber (Mae Whitman, "Scott Pilgrim vs. the
World"), and sullen and sensitive Drew (Miles Heizer,
"ER").
